The Bio-Competitive Exclusion technology is a “dual effect” system. H2S Elimination in production systems is concurrent with Improved Oil Recovery, the revolutionary revenue producing potential of this innovative and effective technology.

Site specific, customized Max-Well 2000 product formulae are added as an amendment to waterflood injection wells. Nitrate-based liquid Max-Well acts as a nutrient for the targeted, naturally occurring, indigenous Nitrate Reducing Bateria (NRB). NRB metabolize the product, reducing it to nitrogen gas, as well as forming important bio products such as CO2, surfactants, and solvents, all of which are known oil-releasing mechanisms.

Importantly, these bio products are continuously and simultaneously produced—insitu, within the pore space matrix—and have a profound affect on trapped oil droplets by virtue of the synergistic actions of interfacial tension reduction, oil viscosity reduction, and changes in capillary pressure. Residual oil is then released and mobilized by the existing waterflood toward the production wells.

The benefits and economics of Max-Well 2000 treatments are unsurpassed:

Significant recovery rates
Minimal up-front costs
Low product cost
Very low manpower requirements
Tertiary tax credits
Sustainable results
Environmentally friendly treatment products
Extremely low cost per incremental barrel of oil
